It depends on your situation — your Initial Enrollment Period is tied to your 65th birthday, but if you’re still working or have other coverage, the timing can differ. Getting it right matters, because some late-enrollment penalties last a lifetime. We’ll walk you through exactly when you should act.

They’re two different ways to fill the gaps in Original Medicare, with very different trade-offs around cost, networks, and flexibility. Rather than push one, we explain both and help you weigh which fits your health and budget.
